Minimum Criteria and number of seats for Admission into RUB Programmes
Admission into Tertiary Education Programmes for 2012 Academic Year

- The Royal University of Bhutan will carry out its admissions to the Colleges/Institutes of the University online as in the past. Admission to each of the programmes will be on merit based on the ability rating.

- The online application for both Government Scholarship as well as Self financed students will open from 10 February 2012 and will close at 4pm on 25 February 2012. To apply online please visit RUB website. Students can apply from any place where you have access to internet facility.
- Tuition fees and accommodation for Self Financed Students
4.1. The tuition fee is Nu.61,800 per year for Arts and Humanities programmes and Nu. 76,220 per year for Science and Engineering programmes.
4.2. Tuition is payable annually or on a quarterly basis (with Nu. 15,450 for Arts and Humanities programmes and Nu. 19,055 for science and engineering programmes per installment) with the first installment to be made at the time of admission.
4.3. The accommodation in the college hostels if available will be provided on a nominal rent of Nu. 150 per month and the charge for food will depend on the mess policy of each of the colleges. - Requirements for admission to RUB Programmes
- All qualified students seeking admission will require the following documents:
- Citizenship Identity Card
- Class 10 Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate
- Class 12 Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate
