Note:

  1. Candidates must meet the benchmark score: Minimum aggregate of 60% each in Class X (English + best 4 subjects) and Class XII (English + best 3 subjects), and 55% in Bachelors degree (honors)/60% in Bachelors degree (general). However, the criteria is not applicable for those with five years of relevant experience at professional positions.
  2. Aggregate % (*) has been calculated considering academic performance: 15% of Class X, 25% of Class XII and 60% of Bachelors degree. Also, 5 bonus points have been awarded for those with 5-10 years of relevant experience(s) at professional position(s) and 10 bonus points have been awarded for those with more than 10 years of relevant experience(s) at professional position(s).
  3. A maximum of 20 candidates (for each vacant slot) are shortlisted for Written Examination based on merit of aggregate academic performance.

Candidates may appeal to the HR Division latest by Wednesday, 18 September 2019, for any grievances related to shortlisting at 336523/336454 during office hours.

Announcement for Written Examination:

  • All shortlisted candidates must sit through one written examination paper comprising of three sections: English Communication, Dzongkha Communication and Problem Solving.
  • Candidates shortlisted for both positions (Engineer and Site Supervising Engineer) shall sit for only one Written Examination paper. The marks secured will be employed for both the positions.
  • Candidates must score at least 50% in the written examination.
  • A maximum of 5 candidates (for each vacant slot) will be shortlisted for viva voce based on the merit of marks secured in the written examination.
  • The marks secured in written examination will be taken into considering for shortlisting purpose only and will not have any weightage in the final selection.
  • Final selection will depend solely on the performance of candidates in the viva voce interview.

All shortlisted candidates are requested to report for written examination along with their original Citizenship Identity Card and necessary stationeries including calculator, as per the following schedule:
