Must be in Position Level 3 or equivalent, or have 20 years of work experience in professional positions, within which, a minimum of 5 years’ experience in leadership and management in education or administration is required

Pay and Allowances: 

  • Pay Scale: 73,845-1,480-81,245
  • Non-teaching Allowance: A lump sum of 15% of minimum pay scale (Nu.11,075)
  • House Rent Allowance: A lump sum of 20% of minimum pay scale (Nu.14,770)
  • Fixed Term Allowance: A lump sum of 30% of minimum pay scale (Nu. 22,155)
  • Communication Allowance: Nu.1000 per month


A candidate must:

  1. Be a Bhutanese citizen
  2. Fulfill the age limit of 55 years and below at the time of application
  3. Meet qualification, experience and other requirements as specified in the position profile of the position.

  7. Copy of Citizenship ID card
  8. No Objection Certificate from the employer, if employed
  9. Experience certificate(s)/documentary evidence(s) to confirm 20 years of work experience, or copy of office order of appointment/promotion to Position Level 3 or equivalent
  10. Documentary evidences of experiences in leadership and management in education or administration
