Programme: Diploma in Animal Husbandry

Purpose of programme: The main purpose is to train a versatile mid-level staff to mainly cater to the needs of the farming community through a holistic and farmer oriented training in Animal Production and Animal Healthcare.

2 Year 2 Sem Geog Field Attachment Clinical Veterinary Medicine Dairy Technology Pig, Poultry & Equine Production Veterinary Public Health & Epidemiology Project Work

Course Duration: Full time 2 years

Status: The programme was earlier launched in 1992 as 3 years full-time study till 2001 enrolment. From 2002 till 2005 intake, the programme was restructured to 2 years full-time study. Later the programme was adopted by the University in 2006 and launched in the same year 2006. The programme is since then continuing till date. The programme was recently reviewed in 2013 and approved by 27th Academic Board.
