Admission into Tertiary Education Programmes for the Academic Year 2022
- The Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) will be carrying out admissions to the Colleges of the University online as in the past. Admission to each of the programmes will be based on merit ranking as per the eligibility criteria and ability rating as detailed against each programme.
- The online application for both Government Scholarship as well as Self-Financed students in RUB Colleges will open from 10th May 2022 and will close on 24th May 2022 at midnight except for the BEd programmes at Paro College of Education (PCE) and Gyalposhing College of Information Technology (GCIT). To apply online, please visit RUB website (http://www.rub.edu.bt). Students can apply from any place where there is internet facility.
- Students wishing to apply for programmes at Gyalposhing College of Information Technology should apply to the College provided they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria below. Please visit the College websites for details.
- Students wishing to apply for BEd programmes at Paro College of Education should apply to the College. Please visit the College websites for details.
- Tuition fees and accommodation for Self-Financed Students:
- The tuition fee is 72,526 per year for Arts and Humanities programmes and Nu. 89,849 per year for Science and Engineering programmes. The tuition fee will increase at the rate of 2% per year.
- Tuition fee is payable at the time of registration in the beginning of each semester at the rate of 36,263 for Arts and Humanities programmes and Nu. 44,925 for Science and Engineering programmes.
