Gender discourse is significant to address issues and challenges related to equality and rights concerning individuals. This conference would provide an open platform for academics, policy makers and civil society activists to come together to discuss about gender related issues and challenges faced in the society.
The International Conference will be conducted for two days on 21st and 22nd December 2017.
The main objectives of the conference are:
- To understand gender in south Asian context
- To bring together academicians, researcher, activists and interested individuals to share and learn from each other
- To understand cultural dynamic in gender discourse
- To identify challenges, needs and priorities towards addressing the above issues.
This conference will provide a platform for exchange of information, ideas and challenges to address gender issues in South Asia. The conference will generate invaluable knowledge and assets arising from the discourse and dialogue with qualified and experienced professionals.
