  2. Have attained at least 18 years of age, and not more than 45 years of age

To foster a healthy lifestyle among young adolescents, the Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) has been organizing the Winter University Games since 2014.The objectives of the tournament are to keep the students engaged during their vacation whilst improving their sports skills both at University and National level.

The 6th Winter University Games kicked off today at the host College, Gyalpozhing College of Information Technology (GCIT), Mongar.

The 5th University Games 2018 finals was hosted by Gedu College of Business Studies in collaboration with the Bhutan University Sports Federation (BUSF). A total of 324 participants from 8 colleges of RUB competed in basketball, football and volleyball.

There has been a steady increase in the life expectancy around the world because of various reasons such as advances in medicines and nutrition but along with it comes economic, social and health challenges.
