ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A candidate must:

  1. Be a Bhutanese citizen
  2. Have attained at least 18 years of age, and not more than 50 years of age
  3. Have minimum aggregate of 50% each in Bachelors degree and Masters degree
  4. Fulfill lateral entry criteria (Click Here) to apply for Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor’s position
  5. Meet experience and other requirements as specified in the position profile of the position.

Preference shall be given to those with relevant work experiences for the purpose of shortlisting.

Eligible candidates may apply to the Human Resources Division, Office of the Vice Chancellor, Royal University of Bhutan, Motithang latest by 15 January 2019 along with copies of the following documents:

  1. Duly filled RUB Employment Application Form (Click Here)
  2. Academic Transcripts (Certificate & Mark sheet) of PhD and/or Masters, Bachelors degree, Class XII, and Class X
  3. Valid Security Clearance Certificate (approved online)
  4. Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (valid for 6 months from the date of issue of certificate)
  5. Citizenship ID card
  6. Audit Clearance Certificate, if employed in civil service and corporations
  7. No Objection Certificate from the employer, if employed
  8. Documentary evidence(s) or experience certificate(s) for all employment records (current and previous employment information provided in your RUB Employment Application Form) indicating clearly the number of years of experience and responsibilities shouldered.

Candidates applying for academic positions are requested to submit only the aforementioned documents (and refrain from submitting any additional documents such as merit certificates, school leaving certificates, etc.).
