A candidate must:

  1. Be a Bhutanese citizen
  2. Age limit:
    • Dean’s position: Have attained at least 18 years of age, and not more than 55 years of age at the time of application
    • Finance position: Have attained at least 18 years of age, and not more than 45 years of age at the time of application
  3. For Finance position: Must have minimum aggregate of 60% each in Class X (Eng + best 4) and Class XII (Eng + best 3), and 55% in Bachelors degree (honors)/60% in Bachelors degree (general).
    Note: The criteria shall not apply for those with minimum of five years of relevant experience in professional positions
  4. Meet the requirements as specified in the table above and in the position profile.

    • Bachelors and Masters degree (for Deans’ position)
    • Masters degree (if any), Bachelors degree, Class XII, and Class X (for Finance position)
  3. Copy of Valid Security Clearance Certificate (approved online)
  4. Copy of Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (validity for 6 months from the date of issue of certificate)
  5. Copy of Audit Clearance Certificate, if employed in civil service and corporations
  6. Copy of Citizenship ID card
  7. No Objection Certificate from the employer, if employed
  8. Documentary evidence(s) or experience certificate(s) for all employment records (current and previous employment information provided in your RUB Employment Application Form) indicating clearly the number of years of experience and responsibilities shouldered
  9. Documentary evidences of having shouldered leadership roles (for Deans’ position)
