Therefore, in-service candidates must ensure that the current employer is willing to relieve the candidates from service immediately on selection. In the event a candidate is selected and does not join the College on time, their appointment shall be cancelled.<\/li><li>For in-service candidates, the basis for assigning higher positions will be the prevailing rules for\u00a0lateral entry\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rub.edu.bt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Lateral-entry-criteria-1-2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click here for lateral entry criteria<\/a>) and experience reflected in the position profiles.<\/li><li>Upon selection, the roles and responsibilities of academic staff will not be limited to the position profile of individual positions, but will also be guided by\u00a0Representative Work Activities (RWAs)\u00a0for each position (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rub.edu.bt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/RWAs-for-different-positions-2-2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>c<\/u>lick here for RWA<\/a>).<\/li><\/ul><p><strong><br \/>ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA<\/strong><\/p><p>A candidate must:<\/p><ol><li>Be a Bhutanese citizen.<\/li><li>Have attained at least 18 years of age, and not more than 50 years of age.<\/li><li>Meets benchmark criteria:<\/li><\/ol><ul><li>Candidates with a Master&#8217;s Qualification (and above) must have a minimum aggregate of 60% each in Bachelor&#8217;s degree and Masters&#8217; Degree. However, both Master and Bachelor qualifications must be relevant to the subject to be taught.<\/li><li>Candidates with a Bachelor\u2019s degree qualification must have an aggregate of <strong>60% each in Class X (English + best 4 subjects) and Class XII (English + best 3 subjects), and 60% in\u00a0the Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/strong>.\u00a0(Note:\u00a0criteria will not apply for those with a minimum of five years relevant experience).<\/li><\/ul><ol><li>Meets the experience and other requirements specified in the position profile of each position.<\/li><\/ol><p>Eligible candidates are requested to submit applications via the <strong>online portal RUB IMS<\/strong> (applicants are required to <strong>register<\/strong> and then <strong>apply <\/strong>via <a href=\"http:\/\/ims.rub.edu.bt\/\">https:\/\/ims.rub.edu.bt<\/a>) latest by <strong>30 April 2026,<\/strong> <strong>5:00 PM<\/strong>. Kindly follow the step-by-step procedures for the online application.<\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Required Documents:<\/strong><\/p><ol><li>Degree Certificate of Bachelor\u2019s degree and above (<em>if any<\/em>).<br \/>(<em>In the event, recent degree certificate is yet to be awarded, a provisional degree certificate must be submitted instead<\/em>)<\/li><li>Mark sheets of Bachelor\u2019s degree and above (<em>if any<\/em>).<br \/>(<em>Grade Conversion of the mark sheet MUST also be submitted if the marks are awarded in CGPA<\/em>).<\/li><li>Mark sheets of Class XII and Class X.<\/li><li>Valid Security Clearance Certificate (<em>approved online and valid on the last day of the application<\/em>).<\/li><li>Valid Medical Fitness Certificate for Employment\/Interview (<em>valid on the last date of application<\/em>).<\/li><li>Valid Citizenship ID card <em>(both sides).<\/em><\/li><li>Valid Audit Clearance Certificate (Interview), if employed.<\/li><li>Employed Candidates must produce a No Objection Certificate from the Parent\/Working Agency\u00a0within 5 working days after the selection interview, if selected.<\/li><li>Experience Certificate(s)\/documentary evidence(s) for current and previous employment records.<br \/><br \/><\/li><\/ol><p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Applicants are required to submit at least two references in the application form. The two references in the application form should both be <strong>professional<\/strong>\u00a0referees from two latest different organizations, if employed. If there is only one past\/current employment record, one referee should be from that organization and the other one should be from the College\/University where the highest qualification was obtained.
