Announcement of Shortlisted Candidates for the Position of Presidents

The following candidates are shortlisted for the position of Presidents.

 Shortlisting Criteria

 The Candidates have been shortlisted based on the Criteria mentioned below as per the vacancy announcement:

• Qualification
• Experience and its relevance
• Age
• Submission of Mandatory Documents as per the announcement.
• Completeness of Application

Note :

• All shortlisted applicants are required to present their original Citizenship Identity Card (CID) for verification during the presentation preparation session.
• All shortlisted applicants are required to report to the Office of the Vice Chancellor, Royal University of Bhutan, Lower Motithang, Thimphu, on 31 July 2026 at 9:30 AM for the preparation of their presentation.
• The presentation topics will be assigned during the presentation preparation session. Applicants are therefore required to bring their own laptop to prepare their presentations.
• The presentations for applicants to Paro College of Education and the College of Natural Resources will be conducted from 4–5 August 2026. Based on the performance in the presentation, the top five (5) candidates for each college will be shortlisted for the Viva Voce Interview.
• The final Viva Voce Interview for applicants to Paro College of Education will be conducted on 6 August 2026.
• The final Viva Voce Interview for applicants to the College of Natural Resources will be conducted on 7 August 2026.
• The final Presentation and Viva Voce Interview for applicants to Sherubtse College will be conducted on 10 August 2026.
• The final Presentation and Viva Voce Interview for applicants to Jigme Namgyel Engineering College will be conducted on 11 August 2026.
• All applicants are required to bring the original documents at the time of the Viva Voce Interview.
• The selection results will be announced at the end of each respective interview schedule.
