Annual University Research Grant (AURG) Award for Fiscal Year 2026–2027: Selected Proposals

 

The Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) is pleased to announce the completion of the selection process for the Annual University Research Grant (AURG) Award for Fiscal Year 2026–2027.

 

A total of 31 research proposals were received from faculty members across the University. Following a rigorous evaluation conducted in accordance with the Annual University Research Grant (AURG) Guidelines, four (4) research proposals have been approved for funding.

 

The selected projects will receive a combined grant of Nu. 3.5 million, which will support the implementation of high-quality research aligned with RUB’s strategic research priorities and national development goals.

 

The Office of the Vice Chancellor congratulates the successful research teams and expresses its sincere appreciation to all applicants for their submissions. The Office also extends its gratitude to the external reviewers and members of the evaluation committee for their professionalism, expertise, and commitment in ensuring a fair, transparent, and merit-based selection process.
