Admission into RUB Programmes for the Academic Year 2026

  1. The online application for College of Language and Culture Studies, College of Science and Technology, Gyalpozhing College of Information Technology, Paro College of Education, Gedu College of Business Studies, Samtse College of Education and three new programmes of Sherubtse College (Bachelor of Economics and Political Science; Bachelor of Digital Communication and Project Management; and Bachelor of Data Science and Data Analytics) will open on 1st March 2026 and close on 15th March 2026 at 5:00 PM. Students seeking admission to these colleges may apply directly to the respective colleges on the aforementioned dates. The Office of the Vice Chancellor will announce the online application links
  2. The central online application for the College of Natural Resources, Jigme Namgyel Engineering College, and Sherubtse College (BSc in Physics, BSc in Chemistry, BSc in Mathematics and BSc in Life Science) will open on 15th April 2026 and close on 5th May 2026 at midnight.
  3. Tuition fees for self-financed students for the Academic Year 2026-2027, including 2% annual increase, are as follows:
    i. Arts and Humanities programmes: 78,505/-
    ii. Science and Engineering programmes: 97,256/-
  4. The tuition fee is payable annually in two installments of 50% each at the beginning of each semester.

Special Scholarship in Leadership for 6 Students
Of the 6 scholarships, 2 will be awarded for Bachelor of Economics and Political Science/Bachelor of Digital Communication and Project Management/Bachelor of Data Science and Analytics programmes. The remaining 4 scholarships will be allocated to the BSc in Life Science/BSc in Mathematics/BSc in Chemistry/BSc in Physics programmes.

· Should have served as School Captain in the academic year 2025
· Meet the minimum criteria for the programme that they would be enrolling in at the College
Merit-ranking will be based on aggregate of four subjects (English plus three best subjects) for the 4 slots in the BSc programmes.
