RUB and ECU renew MoU for academic collaborations at RUB on September 13, 2023
The Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) and Edith Cowan University (ECU) have renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today, September 13, 2023, at RUB to continue their academic and scholarly cooperation for another five years. The MoU was signed by the Vice-Chancellors of both universities in the presence of a delegation led by the Vice-Chancellor of ECU, who is on a visit to Bhutan.
The MoU aims to promote staff and student exchange, research, capacity building, and joint programme development collaborations between the two universities. The two universities have already collaborated on various projects in the past, such as developing curricula and facilitating study abroad programmes. Through the renewed MoU, the two universities hope to expand their partnership to other areas of mutual interest and benefit.
The Vice-Chancellors of both universities expressed their appreciation and satisfaction for the partnership, and their excitement to explore new opportunities for joint initiatives with each other.
The MoU renewal ceremony was followed by a luncheon hosted by the Vice-Chancellor of RUB for the visiting delegation from ECU. The luncheon also provided a platform for networking and exchange of ideas among the participants.
