Announcement: Admission to University Programmes
The Royal University of Bhutan invites Class XII (BHSEC) pass candidates from previous years, or Bhutanese candidates with equivalent qualifications from schools outside Bhutan, to apply for admission to the University’s programmes (excluding Paro College of Education and Samtse College of Education).
Applicants are required to upload scanned copies of the following documents in pdf or jpeg format latest by 30 January 2026 through https://register.rub.edu.bt/:
- Class XII mark sheet and pass certificate; and
- Citizenship identity card.
Past-year candidates wishing to apply for Bachelor of Education programmes must directly apply to Paro College of Education and Samtse College of Education. Application dates for these colleges will be announced separately by the respective colleges.
Students who have previously dishonoured admissions may reapply for admission upon payment of Nu. 5000 to the Office of the Vice Chancellor, Thimphu. Please contact the numbers given below for further details.
No application will be entertained after the deadline.
