ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
A candidate must:
- Be a Bhutanese citizen
- Have attained at least 18 years of age, and not more than 45 years of age
- Meet qualification, experience and other requirements as specified in the position profile of the position.

- Academic Transcripts:
- Academic Transcripts: (i) Degree Certificates and Marksheets of master’s degree (if any) & bachelor’s degree (Grade Conversion of the marksheets MUST also be submitted if the marks are awarded in CGPA), (ii) Marksheets of Class XII and Class X.
- In the event, recent degree certificate is yet to be awarded, provisional degree certificate must be submitted instead.
- Valid Security Clearance Certificate (approved online).
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (valid on the last date of application).
- Valid Audit Clearance Certificate, if employed Civil Service and Public Organisations.
- Valid Citizenship ID Card.
- Candidates must produce No Objection Certificate from the Parent/Working Agency within 5 working days after the selection interview, if selected.
- For in-service candidates, the basis for assigning higher positions will be as per the prevailing rules for lateral entry (Click here for Lateral Entry Criteria) and experience reflected in the position profile.
- Experience Certificate(s)/documentary evidence(s) for current and previous employment records.
- An expression of interest statement for the position (Not more than 250 words).
Note:
- Preference will be given to those candidates with relevant qualification and experience for the purpose of shortlisting.
- The two references in the application form should both be professional referees from two different organizations, if employed. If there is only one or no past/current employment record, one or both referees can be from the College/University where the highest qualification was obtained.
- Priority will be given to Chief’s position if there are relevant applicants.
- Applications with incomplete documents or incomplete information in their application will be directly rejected during the time of scrutiny.
