      The Royal University of Bhutan is pleased to announce the following vacancy:

      Pro Vice Chancellor, Department of Planning and Resources

      Office of the Vice Chancellor, Royal University of Bhutan1Qualification: master’s degree.
      Experience: Position Level 3 or equivalent, or 15 years of work experience in professional positions;

      Other experience: Leadership and Management in Education and Administration.
      Age limit: 55 years and below at the time of application

      Fixed-term:  A term of five years (renewable for another five years or until the age of superannuation, whichever is earlier).Click here

      Eligible candidates may submit your application along with required documents via email to manigyeltshen.ovc@rub.edu.bt latest by 18 November 2024, 5.00 PM.

      Documents required:

      1. RUB Employment Application Form (click here).
      2. Degree Certificates of bachelor’s degree and master’s degree.
      3. Mark sheets of bachelor’s degree and master’s degree.
      4. Valid Security Clearance Certificate (approved online and valid on the last date of application).
      5. Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (Valid on the last date of application with purpose as Selection Interview/Employment).
      6. Citizenship Identity Card (Must attach both the pages).
      7. Audit Clearance Certificate, if employed in Civil Service and Public Organisations (Purpose should be for Interview).
      8. Candidates must produce No Objection Certificate from the Parent/Working Agency within 5 working days after the selection interview, if selected.
      9. Experience Certificate(s)/documentary evidence(s) for current and previous employment records.
      10. An expression of interest statement for the position (Not more than 250 words).

      Note:

      • Both references in the application form should be professional referees from the current and previous workplace.
      • Preference will be given to those candidates with relevant qualification and experience for the purpose of shortlisting.
      • Applications with incomplete documents or incomplete information in their application will be directly rejected during the time of scrutiny.
      • Please, note that it is the sole responsibility of applicants to ensure that all mandatory documents as mentioned above are submitted via email application.
      • Candidate must produce a Negative Drug Certificate, if selected.
      • No application will be accepted after the deadline.
